The name of the boy is Somto Nwachukwu, from Okofia village, Otolo Nnewi, Anambra state. It's reported that he allegedly dropped out of school and immediately insisted on getting married.
Somto is the last child of the Nwachukwu family, his parents were not really comfortable with it but with time they gave in and the traditional wedding between the teenagers was organised. The event took place last week.
There are rumors that the early marriage is due to the boy being the only child of his parents. But all was a lie as it was revealed that the boy has an elder brother who works in a hospital in Anambra state.
The young couple was empowered after their traditional wedding, by the boy's family who reportedly opened a retail shop for them.
